- Plot
This flick is about Sidney Young, a dorky English dude played by Simon Pegg who moves to America to work for a popular magazine. He had big dreams things don’t quite work out for him initially because he was unwilling to play the butt kissing game. Things become complicated when he lusts after sexy Sopfie Maes a movie star played by Megan Fox. Sophie could careless about Sidney as he actually repulses her but his mission is to sleep with her. Dismissing a woman that he subconsciously cares and feels for a lot and that’s Alison Olsen a character played by Kristen Dunst. How to lose friends and alienate people will keep you laughing the entire money but it’s also a little romantic especially towards the end.
The role the Megan plays is that of a stuck up gorgeous celebrity and often hilarious at times. The pool scene is one of a kind, but i won’t spoil it for it for those who haven’t seen it yet. All the actors played their roles perfectly and as far as how good it is, it is very good, and with over 11,000 votes on IMDB the movie has a very solid 7/10 rating.
